I learned the hard way that Eastlink Espresso Repairs is well worth a good reveiw. I originally took my machine to Brighton Coffee Repairs, as one of only two authorised repairers for Saeco within 50km. I had a specific problem with it, and described to the man at the front desk who wrote some notes and then said they’d call me in a week as soon as it’s ready. They didn’t call and then closed for a 2 week break, and another few days on finally got a call. The same man was there when I picked it up and I asked what the problem was. He said he doesn’t know anything about the machines, he just works the reception, but the notes say they just did a service and tested ok so no need for any repairs. It lasted 2 days then started faulting with the same problem. I then took it to Eastlink Espresso Repairs (Wantirna), and described the fault to the young man at the desk. He immediately knew what the problem would be, and described in detail what needed to be done to fix it, as well as knowing the price for parts off the top of his head. He called back THE SAME DAY having repaired the fault, and now it works like new again. For less than Brighton’s “service” cost, they actually fixed the machine. Oh, and my machine was full of top quality beans when I took it to Brighton – but empty when I collected it… Anyway, enough said – take your machine to EastLink Espresso Repairs is my advice.
