Fiorenzato AllGround Sense Review – Is it the best home coffee grinder of 2025?
We already loved the idea of having a fantastic all rounder grinder like the Fiorenzato AllGround grinder but with the new Allground Sense by weight Fiorenzato really stepped up in the game in producing one the best and easiest coffee grinders for home we’ve seen so far in 2025Thanks to its intuitive dial the grinder is extremely easy for switching brewing application, for example from Espresso to Cold brew in a matter of a small rotation of the dial.
What do we like?
First of all the AllGround Sense works with the grind by weight system. As opposed to a time based grinder it weighs coffee in real time. This drastically improves the workflow and the dialling in process. Like with all grinder by weight you are in direct control of the amount of coffee you are grinding directly into your portafilter and there’s no need of adjusting the amount of coffee every time you move the dial from coarser to finer and vice-versa.
One of the best features of this grinder is the fact that you can remove the burrs chamber and clean it grinder without using any tools. Simply rotate the dial, align the marker and press a button. That’s all you have to do! In a few seconds you get to clean your burrs and grinder.
The 64mm burrs are produced in-house with a computerised numerical control machine yielding great results every time. Made in A340 steel and coated with Dark-t titanium coating which makes them last for at least 1400kg, pretty much forever with home use
Best of all the defining feature of the AllGround Sense is the fact that is very clean on your bench, clump free with no spraying of coffee outside the baskets.
The fork is hands free like most of these grinders these days, but on this model it holds the handle quite well, with no vibration whatsoever due to a great motor insulation.
Is it a good value grinder?
For sure there are cheaper grinders in the market, but none of those would offer you the same performance and quality. Grind by weight, titanium coated burrs, easy access to the burrs for $1650?! There’s no other grinder at this price. Remember the grinder is as important as the coffee machine you are using, there’s no point investing in a good machine at the sacrifice of the coffee grinder. Always fit a good grinder in your budget first.
Story behind the brand
Fiorenzato has been producing coffee grinders since 1948. They have been one of the leaders in production of commercial grinders (you can probably see them in your local coffee venue). These machines are handmade and professionally designed using high tech QC and attention to the details.
The XGI grind by weight technology developed for the commercial coffee grinders has been in production for over 10 years. The technology comes after an extended time of testing and development and it’s been directly launched into the domestic line up. This new chapter of the Fiorenzato Home line has started with the AllGround, the first fully developed grinder for the home enthusiast.
