Turin DF64 Gen 2 Single Dose Coffee Grinder
This single-dose, flat burr grinder from Turin lets you get more from your coffee beans by producing an even grind and eliminating micro fines, even at its finest setting. Designed with professionals and coffee enthusiasts in mind, the DF64 feels like a natural upgrade for those who are honing their brewing skills and are ready to get to know their favourite coffee better.
Compact yet robust, the Turin DF64 is built to last with its 64mm burrs, coated to ensure durability. Unlike other flat burr grinders that tend to be noisy, the Turin grinder is low-noise and works fast, thanks to its powerful 1400rpm motor.
Compared with conical burr grinders that inevitably produce micro fines when used at espresso settings, a flat burr grinder like the Turin DF64 produces an even, uniform grind that lets you explore your favourite coffee beans better.
This single-dose grinder’s design also keeps retention at a minimum with its silicone pump system that blows all coffee grounds out. Stepless adjustment Whether you’re grinding for espresso or for cold brew, this Turin grinder is capable of doing the job right. Its stepless adjustment system lets you customise your grind to match the type of coffee beans and brewing method you’re going to use.
Turin DF64 Gen2 Grinder
Upgraded custom burrs exclusive to the Gen 2 are crafted to near perfection. These burrs are reminiscent of the coveted SSP High Uniformity burrs, providing exceptional quality and performance. Featuring DLC coating for a cutting-edge touch and increased lifespan.
Say goodbye to static interference. The innovative plasma generator, nestled in the dosing chute, ensures a clean and consistent grind, minimising static and clumping. While microscopic, it packs a punch, guaranteeing a fresh and mess-free countertop.
Redesigned Burr Carrier
The top burr carrier has undergone a complete transformation. A solid metal plate minimises the escape of stray grinds and beans, ensuring a cleaner machine. Accessing the burr chamber for a thorough clean is now a breeze, making maintenance hassle-free.
Friction Wave Spring Adjustment
No more small springs and grommets to contend with. The Gen 2 introduces a game-changing friction wave spring for grinder adjustment. This 360-degree marvel simplifies the process, eliminating concerns about part loss during cleaning and ensuring seamless reassembly without alignment issues.
Embrace a new all-metal body, available in sleek black or white finishes. The redesigned dosing cup, now aluminium, complements the detachable dosing collar.

Russell Tunny –
First up, this grinder is quiet, and does not make a mess in the kitchen bench. Not sure if better design or the antistatic feature. But more importantly I have consistency in the way the coffee levels in the basket and the subsequent taste from each shot. I love it.
Dan H –
An old sunbeam grinder finally gave out after around 15 years of daily use (with good cleaning and maintenance) . Did some research and landed on the DF64. I am pulling 1 – 2 shots every morning, and occasionally 1 more in the afternoons, and swap beans every week or so, so the easy stepless adjustements are great and very easy to swap over dial in. I sometimes also go for a pour over, so the DF64s so it’s great to have the flexibility to change on the fly.
This grinder is an absolute beast. The precision it offers is amazing, as you can go from full steps with the clear marker to anything in between. It’s built like a tank and has a decent weight to it, but is not overly huge.
It’s also easy to clean and requires zero setup out of the box (although probably a good idea to run some cheap coffee beans through it to season and get rid of any residue from factory)
Lastly, if you are concerned that this thing is loud, let me tell you compared to a conical grinder (although admittedly it was older) it’s night and day difference. I hot start it and I actually think this grinder is quiet, but i don’t have much else to compare it to.
